CAN I WRITE FOR OH READER?
Yes please! We would love to hear your story pitch; head over here to submit your ideas. Make sure you understand the Oh Reader ethos before you submit your story. What will you write about, and why? Why will our readers love your story? What makes your story different?
CAN I SUBSCRIBE TO OH READER?
Of course! Please visit our subscriptions page to sign up. You can purchase either a digital subscription, or a print subscription that also includes digital access.
Can I give a subscription as a gift?
You lovely thing, you! Yes, there is a gift option at our subscription page.
I don’t live in the United States, but I can only see US subscriptions on your subscription page.
Above the pricing for subscriptions, you will see some (admittedly quite small) links to take you to Canadian and international subscriptions. You can also click here for Canada, and here for the rest of the world.
WHERE CAN I BUY OH READER?
In any reputable, super-cool bookstore. Barnes & Noble is a great place to start! For specific locations, please contact us.
how often is oh reader published?
You can expect four issues of Oh Reader per year.
Can I purchase back issues?
You sure can! Click here to be taken to our store. Please note that back issues cost slightly more than current issues because we pay for storage and mail management for these copies.
The back issues that I want to purchase are sold out. Will you be printing more?
We would love to! If you are looking for a particular issue, please show your interest by filling out the form here, and we will contact you if we print these issues again.
I would like to cancel my subscription. Can I get a refund for the issues that remain on my subscription?
All subscription purchases are non-refundable, but if you would like to gift the remaining issues to a fellow bookworm, let us know and we will make it happen!
I am a book retailer, and I would love to carry Oh Reader. Do you offer wholesale ordering?
Absolutely! Please click here to learn more about our wholesale program.
where is oh reader located?
New York City, baby! But our contributors come from all corners of the Earth, and you can subscribe from wherever you are.
I didn’t receive the latest issue on my subscription. What should I do?
First, log into your account by clicking here. Your account number is on the email you received when you first subscribed. Please check that your name and address are correct, and let us know if they are not.
If your details are correct, wait until at least two weeks after the release date if you’re in the US, and one month if you’re an international subscriber. Unfortunately postal services can be kinda slow sometimes. If you still haven’t received your copy after this period, please email media@ohreader.com, and we will investigate further.
Is my account still active? How many issues do I have left?
Log into your account by clicking here. Your account number is on the email you received when you first subscribed. You will find all of the information about your subscription here, including past orders, remaining issues, and upcoming renewals.
I didn’t opt out of autorenewal in time, and my subscription was renewed. What can I do?
We send reminder emails three days before you are due to be charged for an autorenewal. These emails provide the option to log into your account and opt out of autorenewing. To do this now, click here. Your account number is on the email you received when you first subscribed. As we advise of autorenewal at the time of purchase, and before your card is charged, we can unfortunately not refund autorenewal purchases.
I ordered a tote bag when I subscribed, and I have received the magazine but not the tote. What gives?
Our tote bags are sent from a separate location to where our magazines are sent from, so they will arrive at different times. Please allow a few weeks for your tote to arrive.
WHY DOES OH READER EXIST?
Because most of the magazines about reading are full of book reviews and author interviews (which we love), and we wanted a magazine for and by readers. We don’t want to tell you what to read; we want to share your reading stories.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BOOK?
Are you serious? That’s like asking a parent to name their favorite child (they have one, but they won’t do it). There are millions of amazing books, and we wouldn’t dare insult one by naming another.
